The project will be hosted for remote Jump access, but it's a plus if you're local, since there may be need for occasional assistance with screenings. While technical AE skills are most important, AVID editing skills (and aspirations) are also a plus. Since the bulk of the footage has already been shot, we're hoping that the right candidate will have bandwidth to assist with the edit: building stringouts, finding coverage for interview material and/or rough-cutting scenes. Experience prepping mixed-format material for online is also needed. We need an AE who can build the 4K AVID project from scratch ingest and organize footage and group two-camera shoots.Īdditionally, there will be a variety of archival material that will need to be ripped and transcoded. This is a feature-length documentary with approximately 80TB of shot RED footage.
